We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who attended Dr. Bill Creasy's captivating presentation on May 19 and 20. A special thank you goes out to the dedicated parishioners who organized and funded the trip to Kansas City, allowing both the Curé of Ars community and local Catholics to share in this enriching experience. Dr. Creasy provided valuable insights on how to be informed readers of scripture, focusing on four key principles: geography, history, literary context, and the voice of God. After the Friday session, attendees enjoyed wine and cheese in the Fr. Burak Room, and on Saturday, we reflected on the life of King David. It was wonderful to see over 200 people attend Friday night and different groups participate in each Saturday session. We appreciate everyone's support in making this event a success and fostering a deeper connection to scripture. Dr. Creasy's presentation can be viewed below.
