Bereavement Ministry A monthly Memorial Mass is held on the 3rd Saturday of the month and is followed by a gathering in the Fr. Burak Room for those who have lost a loved one. The gathering has a speaker and is a time of fellowship and support.
Care Ministry (Communion for the Sick) Volunteers take communion to nursing homes, residential facilities and parishioners in their homes who are sick within Curé Parish boundaries. Training is required.

Catholic Charities Food Drive Our parish sponsors a food drive to support Catholic Charities on the 2nd full weekend of each month. You can support this ministry by donating food items, giving cash, donating online and/or volunteering your time to hand out bags or to work collecting food in the truck. We have volunteer slots available on two weekends a month for anywhere between 15 minutes after Mass (hand out collection bags) to 60 minutes on food collection weekends (receiving donations at the truck.)
Catholic Charities Hope Distribution Center Items in the Food Drive Truck are taken to a warehouse downtown. Volunteers are needed to sort food, greet clients, help them shop, stock shelves, share resources and drivers to pick up donations from area grocery stores. There are many ways to make a difference and serve the hungry in our community. Join other Curé parishioners for a four hour shift Monday - Thursday once a week or every other week and meet the friends we serve.
Dental Mission to Guatemala This group makes an annual visit to Manos Amigas, a home for abused women and children in Guatemala, to provide dental care. If you are a dentist, hygienist, or someone interested in a mission trip, contact them to learn how you can help.
Funeral Luncheon Committee This group prepares and serves lunch for bereaved families after a funeral. Volunteers are needed to help in preparation and serving of the meal.
Holy Rosary Repair Rosary repair service provided for parishioners and the community. Repairs are free of charge with some exceptions. Donations of old rosaries and parts are welcome.
Meals on Wheels Volunteers work with the local Meals on Wheels Program and deliver meals 5 days a week. Members take turns covering the route we have been assigned. We can always use subs!

Operation Breakthrough Adopt a Family Operation Breakthrough is offers the opportunity for Curé of Ars parishioners to adopt a family for Christmas and support them in a time of need. Curé has helped families with Operation Breakthrough for many years by providing gifts, grocery cards, etc.

Prayers for Special Intentions Volunteers pray in the privacy of their own home for the special intentions of parishioners. All is kept confidential.
Respect Life Committee The mission of the Respect Life Committee is to educate and engage our parishioners to build a culture that ministers to and defends the dignity of all life from conception to natural death. Our members support foster care families/children and pregnant mothers with challenging circumstances.
Seven Sisters Apostolate The Seven Sisters Apostolate is a call to strengthen the Church by ensuring that a Holy Hour is prayed each day of the week for the sole intention of a specific priest or bishop - a “holy wasting” (cf. Mt. 26:10) or lavishing of prayer for his deeper conformity to Christ.

St. Dismas Prison Ministry The St. Dismas Prison Ministry is a Spiritual Pen Pal program for adults (18 and over) to communicate with inmates in various prisons throughout the country. Volunteers are matched with a correspondent, write to them once a month for a commitment of one year and send Christmas Cards during Advent. These letters are meant to share one's faith journey and to help those incarcerated to grow in their faith and the love of God.
St. Mary's Food Kitchen At St. Mary’s Food Kitchen, we prepare and serve a meal on the third Monday of each month at the food kitchen. Volunteers needed to provide food, deliver and / or serve.
Stephen Ministry Stephen Ministers are trained to provide confidential prayerful assistance to those experiencing life’s challenges and difficulties. They are trained to walk with you, help you carry your burdens, and bring God’s loving care.
