The Joyful Marriage Project was created to fulfill Archbishop Naumann's vision to invite every couple in Northeast Kansas to increase the joy in their marriage by attending a marriage enrichment in 2017. Using the home-building analogy, they have grouped many different opportunities into four levels: Foundation, Structure, Storm-proofing and Open House. Couples are invited to participate at whichever level or levels they feel most comfortable. To learn more about this self-guided program, please visit their website: Joyful Marriage Project.
Natural Family Planning, or NFP, is a research-based method of postponing or achieving pregnancy. It is safe, highly effective, inexpensive and can help to build deeper intimacy in marriage. Couples learn NFP by attending classes offered by trained instructors who take time with each couple to be sure they are confident. The Archdiocese of Kansas City in Kansas offers detailed information and class schedules to assist couples wanting to learn more about NFP. For more information, please visit their website: Natural Family Planning.
