Curé of Ars' Mothers of Young Children (MOYC) is an active ministry group for moms with children kindergarten age or younger, and their families. Our goal is to provide fellowship through social functions for moms, children, couples, and families, faith enrichment activities, philanthropic work, and meetings with informative speakers.
         
We provide a supportive network for families with young children by giving members opportunities to participate in social, volunteer, and spiritual activities.  MOYC also supports and serves children and families of several charities in the Kansas City area through its philanthropic work.Gift Gallery is MOYC’s annual fundraiser and 2024 marks the 21st year of this event. This two-day holiday shopping event brings together 60+ local artisans and vendors. MOYC donates 100% of the proceeds to charities nominated by MOYC members.

Gift Gallery begins on Friday, November 8 from 5:30 to 9:00pm with Miracle on Mission and is the perfect opportunity to shop, sip, snack, and socialize….all for a great cause! Tickets for Friday evening are $40. The shopping continues Saturday, November 9 from 9:00am to 3:00pm with a visit from Santa at Santa’s Workshop from 9:30am to 12:00pm and tickets can be purchased for $10. Philanthropic Work
MOYC supports many local children’s charities through funds raised at our annual Gift Gallery. We also adopt Christmas Angels through Catholic Charities, hold various baby and feminine needs drives, and help our parish community by providing meals to MOYC members with new babies and/or when a family is experiencing a situation where providing meals would be helpful.  
  
Faith Enrichment
The Faith Enrichment committee plans different events throughout the year to help deepen your spiritual journey. These events include things such as family rosaries, daytime and evening speakers on various topics related to our Catholic faith (childcare is provided for daytime events), bible studies, adoration opportunities, and couple’s events.     
           
Informational Meetings
4 times throughout the MOYC season, which goes from September to May, we bring in speakers to present on a variety of fun topics.  These meetings are a great opportunity for learning and socializing.  Past event topics and speakers have included interior design, a floral design class, organizing tips and tricks, and more.
             
Mom’s Activities
The Mom’s Committee plans many fun activities like spa events, wine tastings, and a number of various parties throughout the year.       
  
Couple’s Activities
The Couple’s Committee plans several events throughout the year such as Royals games, cooking classes, dinner clubs, derby party, and more!
          
Children’s Activities
The Children’s committee plans monthly events ranging from seasonal/holiday themed parties, park meetups, to other crafts and activities. 

Registration for MOYC is $40 for new members and $35 for returning members. The registration fee helps cover the cost of a MOYC name tag for new members, and many of the events we have throughout the year.
