Examples of Prayer Team resources: create a prayer calendar; create a prayer bookmark; create a 14-Day Prayer Guide that leads up to Commitment Sunday; plans and organizes a prayer activity
Events Team
Plans a series of church/school wide info events with opportunities for Q&As.
Each church & school household encouraged to attend an event
Plans and oversees all details of the campaign events including location of event refreshments, childcare, set up, clean, up, etc.
Thanks Team
Sends personal thank you notes to campaign volunteers and donors
Considers a small thank you gift for donors
Considers a recognition plaque or book to include donor names
Youth Team
Provides opportunities for youth to learn about Christian stewardship.
Examples of ways to involve youth in the campaign are as follows.
Offer a testimonial in a service about what stewardship means to me.
Create a video that shows how the campaign projects will benefit the church and school
Have youth participate in giving of their time, talent and treasure to God.
Ambassador Team
Answers questions about the Capital Campaign
Makes phone call reminders, sends emails, and answers questions
Communications Team
Communicates important information about the Capital Campaign. Ensures all campaign communications are consistent and accurate
Helps create the campaign logo and slogan
Considers a variety of ways to communicate the campaign message, (e.g., banners, posters, e-blasts, newsletters, campaign packet, pulpit announcements, etc)
